Preliminary scoping review of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) qualifications and units within the Business Services Training Package (BSB07).
The scoping review has been finalised and the final report is now available. The scoping review identified a number of areas within the BSB07 OHS units and qualifications that will require attention in the short-medium term. The current process of OHS legislative harmonisation provides a further stimulus to undertake a review of the BSB07 OHS units and qualifications, but also places constraints on the timing for such a review.

Business Services Governance Qualification Review - Indigenous focus
The revised Certificate IV in Business (Governance) and Diploma of Business (Governance) have been accepted by all jurisdictions and are being forwarded to the NQC for endorsement. Once endorsed, the qualifications will be submitted to NTIS for posting on its website. The BS07 Training Package, with the inclusion of the revised Business Governance qualifications, will subsequently become Version 5.

Mapping exercise between BSB07 and AIPM Project Management Standards
Early in 2009 IBSA commissioned Workplace Agenda to complete a scoping report to identify commonalities and gaps across the BSB07 project management standards and the new AIPM Professional Competency Standards for Project Management. This report has now been completed and will form the basis for future dialogue with the AIPM on ways to more closely align the BSB07 standards and associated AIPM certification arrangements.
